Netiquette IQ Quote of the DAY
"The most useful piece of learning for the uses of life is to unlearn what is untrue."~Antisthenes
Ten Core Netiquette Tips to Improve Your Email in Five Minutes (Part II) - Via Netiquette IQ
This is the second of a three part blog series.
Throughout
all of my blogs, I have offered many suggestions on email issues. Some
of these are simple, others involve utilizing a process.
It suddenly occurred to me earlier today that most of us would like to have a means of quickly improving
our email skills, at least some of them. Therefore I have put together a
composite of suggestions and ask you, the reader, to deploy these and
combine them with some of your own.
When you choose
these, consciously implement them in your emails over the course of one
week. See if an improvement happens. One more suggestion . . .do all you
can to make them permanent! Do I use one word replies? Do I use too many imperatives? Are my paragraphs brief? Do I abbreviate too often? Do I respond within 24 hours? Do I use slang or words which are not English? Do I answer questions clearly? Do I stay on message? Do I meet deadlines and commitments? Do I read a message before sending it? Good Netiquette to all! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ In

Netiquette Core Methods for Immediate Email Improvement - Netiquette Quotation of the Day
My blog yesterday focuses upon learning to incorporate attributes within your email. These are ideas which have immediate or short-term effects. I thought it would be appropriate to have today's quote from Confucius. It is definitely "food for thought". Good Netiquette to all! =============================================
"Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous."
